Celebrating Families Week and Mother's Day at Branxton Preschool

As part of our Families Week celebrations, we were delighted to welcome our mums and special loved ones to preschool for our Mother's Day Play and Stay sessions.

These special mornings provided an opportunity for children and their families to spend quality time together in our learning environment, exploring activities, sharing experiences, and creating precious memories. It was wonderful to see the children proudly showing their mums around the preschool, introducing them to friends, and inviting them to join in play and learning experiences.

As part of the celebrations, the children enjoyed decorating flower pots as a special gift for their mums and loved ones. The children took great care in personalising their pots, using their creativity and artistic skills to create a meaningful keepsake to take home. They were incredibly proud of their creations and excited to present their gifts to the special people in their lives.

The preschool was filled with smiles, laughter, conversation, and connection as families engaged in activities together and enjoyed being part of their child's day. These moments help strengthen the partnership between home and preschool while creating a sense of belonging for everyone in our community.

The children were excited to celebrate the important people in their lives and loved having the opportunity to share their learning spaces with them. Watching the interactions between children and their families was truly heartwarming and highlighted the special relationships that help children feel supported, loved, and confident.

As Mother's Day was celebrated on the weekend prior, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our mums, grandmothers, stepmums, carers, and special mother figures a very happy Mother's Day. Thank you for the love, care, guidance, and support you provide each and every day. The role you play in your children's lives is invaluable, and we are grateful to have such wonderful families as part of our preschool community.
